Trauma and EMDRTraumatic experiences are situations that are overwhelming, frightening and difficult to control. They can be road accidents, workplace incidents, bullying at school, phobias, witnessing a traumatic event or childhood trauma. These events can affect our responses in many different ways, sometimes leaving you feeling very out of control.
How Can it Help?EMDR is therapeutic method of processing a traumatic incident from the 'stuck' right side of the brain to the left part of the brain, so that the incident becomes a distant memory, instead of getting in the way of how we respond to everyday life events.
EMDR usually takes up to 8 sessions or can be part of ongoing therapy.
Cost: £45 per session
